Many internet marketers struggle with what to sell online, especially those who are just starting their internet marketing businesses. This is not a problem once you realize that you do not need to sell anything in the beginning.
Some of the most successful selling techniques have always been, not selling anything at all. When developing a landing page for an affiliate product, the most important aspect is to get your prospect to click the link, not to sell the product.
When I send one of my prospects to my landing page, I want to ensure that the sales page is not too long and overbearing. I’m not overtly trying to sell the product, I’m selling the click. In other words, all I want them to do is go from my landing page to the affiliate page with my affiliate link.
Affiliate programs are really easy to find. Create a number of free affiliate accounts: AWeber or another autoresponder site, HostGator or another hosting site, Squidoo or another free website program. From there
All of these things can make you money.
When I started in this business, I simply created as many sites on Squidoo as I had time to create. I then wrote articles to drive traffic to those sites. Squidoo is easy to use because you don’t have to have a product, just an idea.
It was also an excellent learning platform for me. Back in those days, I knew nothing of landing pages, squeeze pages, or even affiliate products. As I built lenses, however, I learned what I needed to learn at a pace that made much more sense then trying to learn everything all at once.
